L’Empreinte implements the HACCP program and obtains GMI certification

L'Empreinte's ambition to become a leader in the printing and manufacturing of folding boxes by maintaining high standards is reflected in several of our recent initiatives. These include the HACCP program (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points), which we introduced in 2023 and are continuing this year, to ensure food quality and safety.

Implementing this program required us to adapt to the specific risks associated with our business (use of inks and chemicals, cross-contamination, handling of food packaging). We had to carry out a meticulous analysis of all the printing stages, from the use of materials to the delivery of finished products, in order to identify, assess and control potential food safety hazards.

We also recently obtained GMI certification (Global Measurement Initiative), which confirms the level of consistency and control of our printing, essential for pharmaceutical and cosmetic packaging.

This certification, which requires compliance with well-established standards aimed at optimising both operators' skills and product quality, enables us to position ourselves more significantly in the large-scale retail industry while reducing unnecessary waste of printing materials and production costs.

Because excellence and high standards are part of the identity of L'Empreinte, we are likely to continue in this direction in the coming years, aiming in particular for SQF certification (Safe Quality Food), a global standard for food safety and quality.
